Jackie was born in Albury and has lived here all her life (apart from moving to Wagga Wagga to study her dental degree). Jackie graduated from Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy and Hygiene in Wagga Wagga in 2011.
She received 5 Dean’s awards throughout her initial degree, and had her research article published in the ADOHTA Journal. She studied her Post Graduate Certificate at Melbourne University in 2016.
She maintains her continuing professional education requirements and has completed extra courses in Orthodontics, Teeth Whitening, Sleep Apnoea and Air Ways for Dental Practitioners.
She has been treating patients of the border and surrounds for over 12 years, initially starting as a dental assistant with Dr John Appleyard in 2006. Her passion for dentistry began watching John and his expertise in all aspects of dentistry. She is so grateful for his mentorship throughout her career.
Jackie has a keen interest in children’s and special needs dentistry. She loves nothing more than getting to know her patients and their families and seeing patients excited for their visits.
Jackie and her partner Brett have two beautiful girls aged 8 and 11. They have 2 pet Golden Retriever’s named Daisy and Willow. Brett is a builder and local footballer helping out with coaching at Wodonga Bulldogs. In their spare time they enjoy fitness, catching up with friends and family and getting out and making the most of the beautiful region.
Jonathan grew up in Sydney and graduated with a Bachelor of Medical Science from the University of Sydney. He then continued his studies at the University of Sydney, graduating with a Doctor of Dental Medicine.
He loves meeting and building rapport with his patients and firmly believes in focusing on prevention and maintenance of teeth. Jonathan is passionate about all aspects of dentistry and loves attending continuing education courses. Prior to joining the Albury Family Dental team, Jonathan worked in private practice throughout Sydney.
In Jonathan’s spare time he enjoys playing and watching all kinds of sport as well as spending time eating and catching up with his friends and family.
Born and raised in Albury, Nick finished schooling at Albury High School and gained his degree at Sydney University in 1986.
Nick has strong local ties to this area and is very proud of the region he calls home.
He now has had the privilege of having treated patients spanning generations and has seen children under his care grow to become adults who now now bring their children for treatment.
Sophie is a Dental Hygienist with 13 years experience in both private and specialist practices. Sophie also has experience in marketing and practice administration which makes her a very versatile staff member, fulfilling many roles for us initially.
Sophie has an interest in empowering patients to maintain good oral health. Sophie especially enjoys assisting patients with periodontal disease, helping them maintain their dentition for longer through regular professional maintenance and excellent home care.
Sophie and her husband have two girls. Sophie spends most of her time outside the dental practice working in her handmade sewing business, Gift Me Again.
Jessica has a strong passion for her work as an Oral Health Therapist. She began working as a dental nurse locally for many years where her passion for the industry began, leading her to graduate from CSU Wagga Wagga in 2012.
Jess believes that oral health is an integral part of overall health. Her approachable and reassuring nature creates a positive dental experience for all patients.
Jess delivers high-quality treatment to all our patients and is focused on developing good relationships, as well as constantly progressing her knowledge and skills.
Jess is married, has a young daughter and they have just moved into their new house.
Emma is a local girl who also began her dental career working as a Dental Assistant. With many years of experience and knowledge in the industry, Emma graduated from CSU Wagga Wagga in 2022.
Emma also works with Specialist Periodontist- Dr Adam Rosenberg at the Perio Centre, looking after patients with complex periodontal conditions.
Emma is a hard worker who strives for the best outcomes for her patients through quality care, education and prevention.
Emma’s and her partner Billy have an 11 month old, Percy to keep them busy.
Zoe
Born and raised in Albury, Zoe graduated from Albury High School in 2017.
Zoe loves every aspect of working in dental and has since she started.
Zoe completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting in August 2022.
In her spare time Zoe enjoys cooking, camping with her partner partner Blair and playing with her gorgeous puppy Maverick “Mav”.
Tracy
Tracy was American born but Australian raised. Growing up in Jindera and Albury, Tracey graduated from Albury High in 2011. Tracy completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting in 2020.
Tracy loves working as an assistant and to provide positive and comfortable experiences for patients. She enjoys assisting during surgical procedures at the Albury Wodonga Private Hospital and the energy of younger patients within the clinic.
Tracy has two girls and in her spare time she enjoys hiking and park adventures with her partner, kids and two dogs. She also enjoys sewing and painting.
